MUET Alumnus Shines Bright: Dr. Muhammad Hunain Memon’s Remarkable Academic Journey

Currently, he is dedicatedly pursuing his doctoral studies at the prestigious University of Science and Technology of China, an esteemed institution recognized among the top 100 universities worldwide.

Dr. Memon has achieved an extraordinary feat by securing a coveted spot in the illustrious pages of Nature Electronics, a journal revered for its unparalleled impact factor of 34.3. His groundbreaking paper, titled “A three-terminal light emitting and detecting diode,” represents a monumental leap forward in his academic odyssey, solidifying his position as a trailblazer in the field.

Dr. Memon’s awe-inspiring journey commenced with our synergistic partnership at MUET, culminating in his debut publication entitled “Internet of Things (IoT) Empowered Genius Animal Habitat” in IEEE, a groundbreaking work that has garnered an astounding 75+ citations, solidifying his status as a luminary in the field.

Throughout his Bachelor of Engineering tenure, he effortlessly clinched the runner-up position at the 29th All Pakistan IEEEP Poster Competition, followed by a remarkable third place triumph in the illustrious 2015 Project Exhibition hosted by the Electronics Department. To further embellish his accolades, he soared to a commanding second place victory at the prestigious International Conference IMTIC’15.
