MUET Alumna, Engr. Falak Naz, Secures Prestigious Marie Curie Scholarship for Doctoral Studies, Focusing on Breast Cancer Research at Renowned Institutions

Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) is proud to announce that Engr. Falak Naz, an alumna from the Department of Telecommunication Engineering, has been awarded the prestigious Marie Curie Scholarship for doctoral studies. This remarkable achievement is a testament to Engr. Falak Naz’s dedication and passion for research, particularly in the field of breast cancer.

Engr. Falak Naz will conduct her doctoral research at the University of Cambridge, Stanford University, MALL Lab, and Vall d’Hebron Cancer Institute in Spain. Her research will focus on breast cancer, a field she has been passionate about for years. This opportunity is a significant milestone in her academic journey, as she secured the top position out of 75 exceptional applicants.

Prior to this achievement, Engr. Falak Naz completed her master’s degree, EMIMEO, jointly from France, Italy, and Spain under an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship. Her academic excellence and research prowess have earned her recognition and accolades from the academic community.
