On January 25, 2024, in a landmark effort spearheaded by the MUET Alumni Development Cell and the Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) recently organized a highly successful Job Fair. This collaborative event, held in conjunction with the convocation, witnessed active participation from over 40 renowned companies across Pakistan, marking a pivotal moment in fostering academic-industry collaboration.

Enthusiasm ran high as more than 3000 visitors, including graduating students eager to explore job opportunities and internships, actively engaged with the Job Fair. Distinguished Chief Guests, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, Chairman of the Higher Education Commission, and Ms. Shahnaz Wazir Ali, President of SZABIST, graced the occasion, imparting prestige and emphasizing the significance of strengthening ties between academia and industry.

The MUET Job Fair provided a dynamic platform for graduating students to connect with leading companies, offering a unique opportunity to explore diverse career paths. Concurrently, a Tech and Startup Show ran alongside the Job Fair, showcasing the innovative ideas of over 20 startups affiliated with the university.
